Richard is the Managing Director and the ‘Main Man’ of Sammy Miller Products Ltd.

Riding his first bike being a Villiers at the age of nine he has had an extensive and  varied involvement in the world of motorcycles all his life. Working for the Windsor Comp shop in the seventies, Richard  carried on working for many other motor cycle shops gaining experience on Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Triumph, BMW, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Cagiva, Maico  and even  Harley Davidson, he is also factory trained on many of these leading bike names. Richard started racing himself in Motor cross in 1974 and still does today in the classic, twin shock, trial  and motor cross events.

Spannering in Australia for the 12 hour desert race  when he was twenty two, to today running the Sammy Miller enterprise,  you cannot doubt Richard’s knowledge and undying passion for his love of motorcycles. In fact because of his involvement with the sport Richard has also become good friends with people like Peter Gaunt, Sammy Miller himself, Mick Grant, Vic Allen and of course everyone’s  friend Mick Andrews,who Richard has made a ‘How to Ride...’  DVD with.

As well as remembering the past  Richard is also a keen sponsor for many events such as Nostalgia and the Sammy Miller Products Championship and is always encouraging new riders to the foreground of this interesting terrain as Richard wants’ to let  as many people as he can participate and have fun, at any level in this motorcycle sport.
